Apply to Work with a Student Innovation Team

The Bachelor of Innovation ™ Degree (BI) students represent a cross-section of the 21 BI family program. BI upper division, required courses, include three years of team coursework, focused on developing team’s ability to analyze and report, research and execute, and design and lead. Student form “consulting teams” and serve the innovation needs of clients. Often, clients work with teams over multiple semesters.

BI clients represent commercial and social ventures on campus, our local community, throughout the United States and around the world. Clients include for profit, non-profit, start-ups, and established entities.

These multi-disciplinary teams are uniquely suited to meet complex client needs. Teams develop a refined problem definition, scope, plan, and communications methods to work virtually, as well as directly with clients.

STEP 3:
A course instructor will reach out to you via email to confirm your application,  clarify any questions, or set up a meeting (for first time applicants.)

STEP 4:
Kickoff! Student teams will contact you within the first few weeks of the semester.

This is a rolling process, with client applications accepted throughout the year for the next upcoming semester. In some cases, the mix of student interests and skill sets in any given semester could mean that we cannot match you with a team. Course composition changes; we will reach out to you again for the following semester!
